How do I add schools to my MySpace profile?

How do I add more than one school to MySpace under the "Visit My School Home Page"? I remember adding the current school when I 1st got this account but now I can't find out where to add more schools to it. Thank you for your help

Dave's Answer:

There are lots of different places where you can tweak your MySpace profile, but they're just about all accessible from the "Edit Profile" link adjacent to your picture on your home page. Click on that and you'll see quite a range of different options on the edit profile settings:

MySpace Edit Profile Menu Options
Click for full-size image

The option you want is "Schools", as you might have guessed. Click on that and now you can add a new school by scrolling down just a bit past your existing entry:

Myspace: Add A New School to your Profile

Once you specify a school, you'll search the MySpace database and it'll show you any matching results. If they're not right, you'll also get a list of all known schools in that city:

Myspace: Add A New School to your Profile

Find a matching school and you'll optionally be able to specify lots of information about your school experience:

Myspace: Add A New School to your Profile: Details

Once you've detailed as much as you're comfortable sharing with the MySpace community and the Web world at large, click on "Submit" and you've just added a new school to your profile!

While you're here, I encourage you to check out all the MySpace Help I have here on this blog, and you can also become my friend by checking out my MySpace profile.

Hi,
Your article describes quite well how to add yourself to a school that already exists. But, especially in europe many schools do not exist yet. I've tried to do this via Groups and then selecting "Schools & Alumni". The group exists but cannot be found under "add your school" (or maybe I should be patient?).

Do you know the right procedure?

To add to the above question... how in the world do you add a DoD school?? I know it's possible because I see it on people's pages (or is the correct term peoples profiles. I've searched and see no option for DoD(they have it as DoDDs) schools, but then again, I'm a novice. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom! :)

I have something to say, now that you mention it, but ...
Starbucks coffee cup I do have a lot to say, and questions of my own for that matter, but first I'd like to say thank you for all your efforts on this Web site by buying you a cup of coffee!

I do have a comment, now that you mention it!
